An exciting opportunity exists in our Electronics Division for an exceptional Security Technician to join our team.

The key focus of this role will be the troubleshooting, repair & installation of Electronic Security Systems. You will work closely with your clients developing long term relationships, managing their account & identifying, troubleshooting & solving their security related issues. Your proven technical ability coupled with your demonstrated passion for customer service will stand you in good stead for this position.

To join the team, you will possess:

· A current ACT & NSW Electronic Security Licence & ACA Open Accreditation
· A current Drivers Licence
· Exceptional written & verbal communication skills
· Demonstrated skills & knowledge in a similar position
· Excellent broad based knowledge of Alarm Panels, Access Control and CCTV – ideally from brands including Innerrange, Tecom & Pacific Communications

Role & Candidate

The role involves installing, commissioning, testing and repairing mainly Concept but also Tecom and Bosch security panels.

The successful candidate must have comprehensive commercial industry experience with the installation, repair, programming and testing of these panels, preferably with Concept. This experience must extend to integrating security panels into fire panels and/or nursecall systems. An understanding of Project Schedules, Deliverables, and Milestones is also critical for success in the role.

Because you will be dealing with a diverse group of people, including builders, architects, electricians and nursing staff, it is essential that personal presentation and grooming has to be of the highest order.

Other important personal attributes include good communication skills allied to a mature, positive attitude and a solid work ethic. You need to have a self starter approach that enables you to work without supervision. Reliability and trustworthiness are therefore important characteristics of the successful applicant.

Also required are a Qld Security Licence, a blue card and an Austel licence.

Salary

The salary will be commensurate with the experience and capability of the successful candidate.
